The Institute is equipped with state-of-the-art operation theatres, quality equipment and high-end video-conferencing systems that contribute in affirming our best-in-industry practices. These unstinting standards have only been augmented by the instatement of a stellar team of surgeons, each with a proven track record and international acclaim.

The Institute comprises of surgeons who specialize in various areas of surgery and are dedicated to performing surgical procedures utilizing of minimal access techniques (Laparoscopy Surgery), so that patients reap the benefits of faster recovery, lesser post-operative pain and minimal post-surgical complications. One of the thrust areas of the Institute is Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery performed by Minimal access techniques, with serious focus on managing morbid obesity.

Team that cares

The Institute headed by Dr. Pradeep Chowbey comprises of four more Senior Consultants Dr. Rajesh Khullar, Dr. Anil Sharma, Dr. Vandana Soni and Dr. Manish Baijal. Additionally, three visiting consultants, one attending consultant, four senior residents and three senior anesthetists exclusively dedicated to patients undergoing laparoscopy. The institute has well trained OT technical staff, nursing and other medical-paramedical staff for support and assistance in operation theatre, patient co-ordination and office execution.

The Institute featured in Limca Book of records in consecutive editions 2000 – 2013 for having performed the largest series of laparoscopic biliary surgery (more than 60000).

The team is proud of having had the honour of operating on His Holiness The Dalai Lama and His Excellency, Shri K R Narayanan, the President of India.
